The Mayor and all Councillors are members of Council in Committee. During these meetings the Committee considers reports and recommendations in a less formal setting to facilitate discussion and debate. Decisions made at Council in Committee meetings are not considered official until adopted by Council during a formal Council meeting.
Council in Committee meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Haldimand County Administration Building in Cayuga. Members of the public are invited to attend open meetings in person, watch the livestream online, or watch recorded videos of the meeting posted to our website.
